Admissions are open at Dashmesh Public School, Baba Bakala Sahib.
We have kept the process simple and in person. You are welcome to visit the school on any working day — look around, meet the staff, and ask whatever you want to ask before you decide anything.
How it works
1. Collect the form. Come to the school office and collect the Admission and Registration Form. If anything on it is unclear, our staff will sit with you and help you fill it in.
2. Bring it back with the documents. Return the completed form to the office with photocopies of the child’s documents. We will meet you and your child for a short, friendly conversation.
For a child joining an older class, we may also spend a little time on their reading and writing. This is to place the child in the right class — it is not a test, and nobody is refused admission on it.
3. Confirmation. Once the documents are in order, the office confirms the admission. The seat is held once the initial fees are paid at the counter, and you will be handed a printed receipt straight away.
What to bring
Photocopies please, with the originals for verification. We return the originals the same day.
- Birth certificate — issued by the Municipal Committee or the Gram Panchayat
- Address proof — ration card, voter ID, electricity bill, or a Gram Panchayat verification letter
- Previous school records — report card and Transfer Certificate, for a child moving from another school
- Four passport-size photographs of the child
- Aadhaar card — optional. If you have the child’s Aadhaar, a copy helps us with government records. No child is refused admission for not having one.
