About Us

Dashmesh Public School, Baba Bakala Sahib — who we are, what we value, and how we teach.

Dashmesh Public School is located at Rayya, near Chounni Sahib Gurdwara on the Link Road, Baba Bakala Sahib. We currently welcome children from Pre-Nursery to Class 8.

The school takes its name from Dashmesh Pita — Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the Tenth Master. His life and teachings inspire the values we hope to nurture in our children: courage, compassion, discipline, service, and a commitment to learning that has meaning beyond the classroom.

We believe a good school is built around its children. It is a place where teachers know their students by name, understand their strengths and difficulties, and notice when a child needs a little more support. We expect children to work hard, but we also believe that when something is difficult, they should never have to face it alone.

Learning at Dashmesh Public School is not limited to textbooks and examinations. We want our children to ask questions, take responsibility, work with others, learn from their experiences, and gradually develop the confidence to face the wider world.

We also believe that education works best when the school and the home work together. Parents know their children in ways no one else can, and we value their thoughts, questions, and involvement in their child’s education.

What we are building is simple: a school where children are known, encouraged to learn, taught to care for others, and given the confidence to become capable and responsible individuals.

The best way to understand our school is not through words on a website, but by seeing it for yourself. We invite you to visit us and experience an ordinary working day at Dashmesh Public School.
